The CSTA hired a new Business Manager: Your main Contact Person

Samuel Beaudry, CFA, CMT is now our new Business Manager. Sam will be your main contact person if you have any question regarding your membership, upcoming events, changes to your account, help on the website, etc.

Sam will work toward increasing member benefits (organizing activities, negotiate discounts for publications, services, etc) to add to our current services (library, monthly meetings, etc). Sam will also be posting events, articles and resources on the CSTA website on a regular basis.

By hiring Sam, one of the main objectives of the association is to increase the CSTA exposure so that our members get more recognition in the Canadian Investment Community.

About Samuel Beaudry:

Samuel Beaudry, CFA, CMT, started to study the market behavior in the midst of the 2000-2001 market downturn. Since then, he has done many studies on technical indicators, and he has programmed, customized and optimized many of them for proprietary purposes. Prior to joining the CSTA, Samuel Beaudry worked as an analyst with Ron Meisels, president of Phases & Cycles Inc. He also held different positions at firms such as National Bank, Thomson Reuters Canada, Swift Trade and Advanced Technical Analysis Inc. Sam has a Bachelor degree in International Business Administration from Laval University in Quebec City and he is a CFA and a CMT charter holder.
